This maple flavored dessert cheese ball is the perfect accompaniment for sliced apples and Ideal for parties. Makes a delectable frosting for cakes and coffee cakes.
Stir mix into 8 oz. softened cream cheese. Add sour cream to desired consistency, Spread into serving dish or turn onto a sheet of plastic wrap and shape into a ball. Chill, and then garnish, if desired, with chopped nuts, coconut, mini chocolate chips, or cake decorating sprinkles. Serve with strawberries, apples, graham crackers, vanilla wafers or pretzels.
A fan recommends stirring mini chocolate chips into the dip. She brings to Thanksgiving dinner, and her family loves it every year.
To make vegan, blend package ingredients with 12 ounces Toffuti cream cheese. Chill at least 2 hours. Serve with crackers, cookies and fruit. Note: prepared mix will have a dip consistency.
