Wild rice harvested in northern Minnesota. The rice is parched over a fire and has the same nutty flavor, tan color, and quick cook time (25 - 30 minutes) as lake rice.

To cook, bring 2.5 cups water or broth to a boil. Add 1 cup wood parched wild rice, cover, and simmer until liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork.
